Established in 2001, The Pathways Foundation (Pathways) strives to create a nurturing, effective and indvidualised learning environment to help children from kindergarten to secondary age with dyslexia to bridge their learning gap, rekindle their interest in learning, and enhance their self-confidence through professional and evidence-based intervention programmes. Our team includes teachers specialising in reading disabilities in Chinese and English languages and Mathematics learning disorders, professional disciplines including clinical and educational psychologists, occupational and speech therapists providing interventions, assessments and therapies for students with reading and related specific learning disabilities. Workshops are also held regularly to strengthen public understanding on dyslexia.<\/div>\n
Short Intervention Courses for Students with Dyslexia from Low-Income Families<\/div>\n
The Short Intervention Courses for Students with Dyslexia from Low-income Families is a 3-year pilot project providing fully-subsidised short specialised intervention courses in English, Chinese and Mathematics for primary-aged students with reading & writing disabilities from low-income families. The short courses will be conducted in small groups of three to four students, a group size which is most effective in addressing the students\u2019 learning difficulties, reducing their frustrations and fostering their self-esteem.<\/p>\n

These courses will be held twice a year during Easter and Summer Holidays between July 2023 and April 2026.<\/p><\/div>\n
