Established in 1988 by the South China Morning Post and RTHK, Operation Santa Claus has grown into one of the most well-known charity campaigns in Hong Kong. Bringing together thousands of corporate partners and community supporters, it fosters a powerful network of philanthropy and compassion. Our corporate entity, SCMP Charities Limited, has been granted tax exemption under Section 88 of the IRO. All the donations will be handled by it, which will channel your donations to charitable entities for meaningful causes with a view to transforming lives across the city.

It connects thousands of partners, fostering philanthropy, with its legacy continued by SCMP Charities Limited, a tax exempted charitable institute under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (File No.: 91/7320).
