Following the tragic fire that happened in Tai Po, which resulted in the devastating loss of homes and lives, the Operation Santa Claus (OSC) team has initiated an emergency appeal to collect donations.
Jointly established by SCMP and RTHK, OSC is partnering with NGO partners and distributing funds for disaster relief and community support. Details will be updated on the designated donation page.

Established in 1988 by the South China Morning Post and RTHK, Operation Santa Claus has grown into one of the most well-known charity campaigns in Hong Kong. Bringing together thousands of corporate partners and community supporters, it fosters a powerful network of philanthropy and compassion. Our corporate entity, SCMP Charities Limited, has been granted tax exemption under Section 88 of the IRO. All the donations will be handled by it, which will channel your donations to charitable entities for meaningful causes with a view to transforming lives across the city.
