Registered under the section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, SCMP Charities Limited (IRD ref no. 91/7320) was established in 2004, it has been functioning as a charitable arm of SCMP Publishers Ltd to manage the monetary donation with external auditors to ensure good corporate governance. In accordance with the Inland Revenue Ordinance in Hong Kong, if the total amount of donor’s donations to an approved charitable institution is HK$100 or above during a financial year, the receipts issued will be tax-deductible.

To request a refund for an erroneous donation, please email the OSC Team at osc@scmp.com within seven days of your transaction. Please kindly note that if the donated funds have already been utilised, we regret that we may be unable to issue a refund.
