Mind HK (Mind Mental Health Hong Kong) is a project launched under the Patient Care Foundation (PCF). Inspired by the motto “No one has to face a mental health problem alone”, the mental health charity endeavours to lend a helping hand to persons suffering from or being at risk of mental health issues, and facilitate the enhancement of mental health in the territory.
- Project Summary
- Sponsored by OSC, Mind HK will devote themselves to the extended collaboration with KELY Support Group and the Weez Project in the Coolminds campaign. In this initiative, literacy training will be conducted to alleviate mental health issues faced by youngsters with a series of events such as bilingual mental health guides and interactive games including Mirror Me Cards. Another major project of the foundation will be 2020 Youth Summit which aims to encourage youth to care for each other at times of adversity.
To achieve this, Mind HK will provide parents and teachers, the secondary beneficiaries, with subsidised training in mental health literacy and orientation throughout the year. Mental health materials will be distributed to them in class.
