AFTERMATH OF TAI PO FIRE : MIGRANT CARE INITIATIVE
Project Summary
This project empowers domestic workers in Hong Kong, notably Filipino and Indonesian women. It directly serves about 50 migrants affected by the Tai Po fire who suffer from emotional distress. MFMW offers integrated physical health care, mental health services, self-care, injury prevention, and safe work guidance to restore dignity.
Beneficiaries
50 Migrant women domestic workers aged 23 – 65. 150 Family members/dependents of the affected migrant domestic workers (3). 150 Affected families who hired migrant domestic workers (3).
