Grassroots Future is a registered charity established in 2020 that builds capacity among refugee-led initiatives, focusing on community building through events and projects driven by members of the refugee community. The program areas cover education, well-being and community outreach. It is the only registered charity to directly build programs with the Refugee Union, Hong Kong’s first and only refugee-led society.

Project Name: TE(A)CH at the Grassroots: Education Fund and STEM Learning for refugee and asylum seeker children and their caregivers
Project Summary: Supporting refugee and asylum seeker children and their caregivers to learn STEM to improve self-sufficiency and future educational prospects while also supporting refugee and asylum seeker families with their annual education expenses.
Beneficiaries: 40 Refugee and asylum seeker children (K-12 age)
