Hong Kong Children In Need enables local children to gain experiences beyond the classroom and equips them with the freedom to explore creativity and share ideas.

We aim to bridge the gaps in education quality, digital inequality and parental awareness, particularly in the fields of STEM.

Project Name: INventoo – STEM Inventors in School Project
Project Summary: INventoo,’ with aid from OSC, is a 3-year collaboration project with three primary schools to equip teachers and students with STEM resources and knowledge. HKCIN will adopt an intensive ‘train-the-trainer’ approach. Trained teachers with STEM skills will lead a group of students to join a STEM open competition followed by integrating STEM contents to their classes. After the training and trial sessions, each primary school will have a detailed curriculum for the teachers to replicate the same model for 3 more group of students per year.
Beneficiaries: 1,500 parent child participants and 9 seed teachers
